A Residential Care Worker provides support, care, and supervision to individuals in a residential setting, ensuring their well-being, safety, and personal development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care, support, and supervision to residents in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks as needed.
- Support residents in their emotional, social, and personal development.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on residents’ progress and well-being.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive living environment by following policies and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience in caregiving, social work, or residential support roles preferred.
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and health & safety regulations.
Recruiting:
We expect all our RCW’s to be able to drive our company cars to transport children and young people. Therefore, you must have a full UK driving licence.
